Hi welcome to my website.
My name is Jude Talmor. I am a filmmaker (Director &scriptwriter) of fiction films, and for TV and animation .
I am also an artist working in painting, photography, Sculpture, video art and Animation.(you can see in my web my Art work in the art section)
Occasionally I have appeared as an actor in film and TV and in most of my own films I act as well.
A few years ago I established my own production company J.T.Films.
We produced a few short films including "Chopak and Aptchek at Waterlow Park and “Hallucination in Croissant Sauce” (view these in the film section). Now we are in pre-production for a feature film entitled” Garden of Eden”. This is to be a co-production film in English. (There is a link about it in the film section including pitching, synopsis and the pilot) it’s a charming black comedy with romantic and surreal elements.
I am now in the process of approaching investors and a film company that would be interested to join us in our journey to create this special movie.
There are some other future projects planned in art and in film. More later.
My life has been varied, and full of diversity.
I was born in Haifa in Israel in the Bat Galim, neighborhood near the sea. When I was 21 years old I moved to Tel –Aviv. I graduated (B.A.) from the Film and General Studies Department (Theatre. General literature, and Philosophy) at Tel-Aviv University.
I also studied Fine Art and Photography at Beit Berl college of Arts.
After I graduated I worked freelance at a photographic studio mainly for advertising and in art design for film and TV. I continued to develope a few fiction scripts including the feature script Garden of Eden. I created my Art works that I exhibited in Israel and in the UK.
I found that I needed to spread my wings to the wide world and to go abroad to get more experience and to develop myself and get involved with different cultures.
I went to London after winning a scholarship for a postgraduate degree courser in Directing & Acting at the Court Yard Theatre, and I appeared in several plays on the London fringe.
Later I took part in workshops at the Actor Centre in London's West End and I produced wrote and directed a short film in English called "Chopak and Aptchek at Waterlow Park". While here in London I also set up various Art exhibitions of my work.
After 3 years I came back to Israel (my father was ill and later he passed away) and I continued to work on this script and launch a solo exhibition . I made another short film called “Hallucinations in Croissant Sauce”. (20 minutes in English) that I wrote, directed, produced and I acted in. It was shown in a lot of film festivals around the world and also in cinemas in Israel and on TV channels.( View the film in the film section).
As a Artist and Filmmakers I found my self inquisitive of about new technology and the digital world. I learned Animation studies & post production (part time) at Haisifa school of open university in the Green village(Israel).
After a long journey and much struggling with writing I have finished the script Garden of Eden and recently I produced , write , directed a pilot for this special unique movie (its already on my web in the film section).
I have already approached invested.
I am also working on other projects in animation short film and a solo art exhibition.
